This winter, since I’m back from Indonesia, I was looking forward to watch a lot of tv shows at the shop (Walking Dead, The Office, Boardwalk Empire and more). I was supposed as well to buy a new Imac in ordre to play Football Manager live from the shop. Actually I can’t do all of that. I can’t say that I’m surrounded by the Biarritz Winter crowd, because it’s really quite but still.
I spend actually most of my time working on new ideas, which is great! All of them won’t come on t-shirts but I like to work fully on a new idea when I got one. As usual you’ll be able to judge them here, and in addition from next week I will organize some “battles” between new graphics and we’ll decide together which one will be the next one to be out on t-shirts. So stay tuned and before that, have a great weekend.

…vient en weekend à Biarritz, elle passe son temps à faire le ménage dans ma boutique. Est ce ma boutique qui était très sale ou bien doit-je m’inquiéter de ses tocs?
Le dimanche, j’ai pu aller jouer au golf avec mon père. Lui, a passé son temps dans les chachis a chercher des balles.
Je les aime quand même.

Charlie and me took the opportunity of a blank wall remaining at the shop to hang up 2 of his canvas. An initiative enjoyable for both of us and for the good of the shop that is now even more beautiful :p

My life is about to get back to normal, after weeks of construction, painting, furniture searching and building, journey to IKEA, banking negociations I’ll be able soon to be back to my normal activities at home and at the shop. I want to say to the most worried that I managed to surf and play golf as well…
From tomorrow, the new shop will be open for you all, even if it’s not completely finished. Come and check it out!

For those of you that wonder what happened and what will happen in the KICKASSS world soon, here’s a quick schedule:
-28th of February 2009: last day at the “old” Biarritz shop, 27 rue Mazagran-Biarritz.
-2nd of March 2009: the shop is empty and I’ve given my keys back to the owner and the new guy that will be doing some espadrilles.
-4th of March 2009: I had my bank on the phone and I’ll have the loan money at the end of next week, and money means the keys…
The new shop is at number 37 same street and is awesome, 2.5 time bigger!
-6th of March 2009: heading to Paris for some vacations and to buy some news products for the shop…
-12th of March 2009: back from Paris and I’ll have the keys to the new shop and will be now able to organize it for KICKASSS. Delivery of the new KICKASSS t-shirts and the “others” products that will be a + for the shop offer.
-Around the 1st of April 2009: Official opening of the new KICKASSS shop!

As you might know, KICKASSS at the present adress, 27 rue Mazagran Biarritz, it’s almost over. Don’t worry it’s not the end for KICKASSS because I’ll have a new shop at the 37 samed street, that will be even better. But I’ll speak about it later. So to celebrate KICKASSS first 2 years in Biarritz we’ll have a little drink this saturday from 7pm. Everybody’s welcome and if you have some KICKASSS in your closet, it’s time to wear it!
