A few weeks ago, I’ve started working on a mini serie called “Euskaleague”. These are designs about virtual US sports teams. This is the first time I’m working on Basque Country related design. Before that I’ve always refused to work on this theme, because I’m not originally from here, I thought that I had not the “right” to do that. I’ve been asked though by customers, people from here. I wanted to find something different to speak about it, a different angle. And today I think I found it. I like the gap between US sports culture with marketing and huge money and traditional Basque Country culture.
