This month, I’ll go straight to the point. April has been really good. +32 % compared to last year, which makes it the best month of april of all time. I could explain it with different factors: almost a full month of school holidays, Fuck Surf Play Golf product being back in the racks and my customers being more and more faithfull, specially on the web. About online sales, we stick to the annual average (16%) but it’s better than last year by 15% on the same period. To put in a nutshell, this is the type of month that gives you the push for weeks!

A weird month, not many things to be happy about despite a rise of 7% of the global incomes and a good month for online sales. It’s globally ok but I have the strange feeling that I could have done much better, specially at the Biarritz Shop. Some of this month’s days were really quite. Too quite. On the other hand the sales of the online shop are really good, representing 48% of the global turnover. Orders from Finland, Belgium, Germany, San Francisco and all over France that really made my days sometimes.
April is ahead, and with it, the begining of serious things.

It’s been a while since I haven’t talked about figures and pourcentages. I even forgot to tell you about the results of 2010.
Regarding 2010. To do short, the turnover has increased of 12% compared to 2009. Online sales representing 14% of the global sales. I’m really happy for 2010, though I’d like to increase the gloabl online sales. It’s important to mention that July, August and september represent 65% of the annual turnover!
Regarding the begining of 2011. No figures for january since 2008. I do a little less in 2011 than in 2008 but in my mind it’s not that significant as the context and shop were different. In January 2011, online sales represent 29% of the global month sales and have risen by 46% compared to 2010.
February 2011, has been good. Good is relative because february is still the worst month in terms of turnover. Compared to 2010 the sales have jumped up of 48%, which makes it the best February in KICKASSS history. Online sales have been disapointed though, explained by no new product this month. Reprensenting 20% of the month sales but being 42% less good than 2010.

…ou travailler moins pour gagner plus.
Petit bilan éclair car je suis parti de Biarritz il y a déjà 3 jours et ne suis donc plus devant mon écran environ 7h par jour. Je reviendrai sur tout cela dans un autre post à venir.
Je l’avais annoncé, à partir d’octobre j’avais décidé de lever le pied, notamment au niveau de ma présence au shop de Biarritz. Cela n’a pas eu de conséquence désastreuse sur les chiffres puisqu’au final octobre 2010 est meilleur qu’octobre 2009 à hauteur de 16%. Une belle satisfaction puisque j’ai ouvert 4 jours de moins que l’année dernière.
Les ventes en ligne ont été bonnes, même si je n’ai pas ici les chiffres en tête.
Novembre est déjà bien entamé, cette fois ce n’est même plus une question de lever le pied mais carremment de l’enlever puisque je n’ai ouvert que quelques jours en début de mois. Le shop sera à nouveau ouvert à partir du 12 décembre. En attendant, la boutique en ligne fonctionne normalement et même plutôt très bien depuis mon départ. Au passage, merci à mes deux petits manutentionnaires par intérim, ils se reconnaitront.

There is a month in a year that you just can’t fail. It’s august. Fortunately KICKASSS has passed this difficulty quite easily. +10% regarding the global sales.
Online sales have been good as well even if they represent only 7% of the global figures. It’s explained by the unusual volume of the sales that can be reached in august in the Biarritz shop.
As you can imagine it’s a huge relief and a big satisfaction for me. Summer is almost over and all the figures are good, I can now expect winter with no stress.
To finish with, let me thank all the visitors from the stores, the usual ones and the ones that discover the shop this summer. These good results are yours.
Results July 2010

Remember what I said at the end of June. I was, like always, a bit scared looking at the season’s figures. Last year it was specialy good due to the fact that my Fuck Surf Play Golf were in the golf magazines. It gave me a push of 25% in sales. This year I knew it will be hard to do better, so I aimed to do as good. But hey surprise! + 10%
I’m so stoked about that, another proof that the Biarritz shop is doing really good. Online sales have been satisfying as well representing 8,5% of the global month sales.
A this time I write, august is already half over and the good time is still going, proof that this summer will be the best one for KICKASSS. To be continued.
Waiting for the “Money Time”

1st of July, this is it, the money time. Just like every year, I’m afraid, afraid of not doing it, afraid of failing to do as good as last year. Every time, when I look at the numbers of July / August it seems so unreal. But, I don’t have any reason to be afraid of because june has been good, really good.
The sales have increased of 25% which is just against any logic. But, I won’t complain. I must say that I’ve worked hard for it. I’ve worked everyday of the month, I try to do the right choices, and I make everything that’s possible to keep a stock of great designs available. You’ll say that it’s the goal of this game. Yep but then you have to do it without puting your business in critical financial position.
The online sales have been limited again, only 7% of the global sales. I guess the season can explain that. July 09 was incredible regarding the figures but let’s not forget that I had this great adv in the Journal du Golf. This july I won’t have such a chance so I’ll have to do even better in the shop.
I have the figures in mind, I’ll have to sale apprx 15 t-shirts a day to as good as 2009. It seems a lot right now but hey, it’s been 3 month that my sales grow, so why wouldn’t it be the same this month? Results in 30 days…

In may, again, I’ve got the impression to do quite a good job because almost all other shops around are saying that their numbers are far below the other years. KICKASSS numbers are not! They’re rising of approx 8%. On the other hand, online numbers represent only 7% of the global ones. Which is a disappointment for me. I’ve sent some stuffs to the press lately, I hope it will boost the online orders.
June is supposed to be even better, we’ll see as it’s not starting at all. I’m leaving to play football in a hour and still haven’t sold shit today…

I was expecting it at the end of march, april was supposed to be a good start for the season. It was. April 2010 has been the best april of all time for KICKASSS. The increase is not huge compared to last year, just 5%, but I guess that it’s a good result regarding the context. The online sales represent 20% of the global month sales, it’s good but these sales are down of 45% compared to last month. It’s hard for me to explain that.
Anyway, may has started and it should be good. The new mustach’ tshirts are selling good and I should have some new Fuck Surf Play Golf polos soon. People are expecting them a lot so…The weather has to change though, because it’s raining all week. If it changes, I should do a good month. To be continued…

Mars hasn’t been that good. Better than February for sure but not enough to make me happy. No figures from last year because the new shop wasn’t opened but I’ve got the figures from 2008 and they were better of 20%, even if it was the small shop…Ok but since then the crisis came by.
What makes me happy is that the web sales represent 48% of the global ones, which is the way to go!
This weekend it’s easter but the weather forecasts are awfull. We’ll see.
